The Bedrock & Earth History Research Organization

Mission: To perform and support bedrock research that improves our knowledge of earth’s ancient history and to support the application of bedrock data in educational, scientific, public, and private sectors.

Research Focus Areas

Stratigraphy

Reconstructing the historical geology and depositional environments of the ancient earth, with a focus on the Paleozoic strata in North America

Micropaleontology

Biostratigraphy, taxonomy, and phylogeny of microsfossils groups, with a focus on conodonts

Sedimentology

Analysis of sedimentary grains to determine rock composition, diagenetic sequences, and depositional conditions

Morphometrics

Development of morphometric techniques to quantitatively and statistically analyze spatial and temporal changes in fossil morphology

Founded to perform and promote bedrock and Earth history research

Professional Geologists

By utilizing a vast network of cross-disciplinary collaborators

Let's work together soon!

Whether you have a new project idea or are seeking collaboration in the listed research areas please reach out.

Everyone is welcome to ask questions or get involved, so if you have a general interest or curiosity please introduce yourself. After all, I enjoy studying rocks and conodonts so much I founded this organization!
